  • What's a positive finding?

    Steps to confirm a positive finding:

    1 .Ensure that the finding persists for 4-5 seconds

    2. Lift the sensor & repeat #1

    3. Also rotate the scanhead & repeat #1

    Well circumscribed shape w/ 

    significant redness & limited yellow is a

    Positive Finding

    Floating, transient yellow shapes without a definitive shape is

    Not a Finding

  • Work with different breast types

    Most breast types including droopy breasts

    (hold-up tissue by hand while using iBreastExam)

    Calibrate on Left Breast 12 o'clock or 3 o'clock (whichever has more tissue) and then scan Right Breast

     

    Calibrate on Right Breast 12 o'clock or 3 o'clock (whichever has more tissue) and then scan Left Breast

    Bony breasts (less tissue)

    Calibrate LB Inner - then scan RB Inner

    Calibrate LB Outer - then scan RB Outer

    Calibrate RB Inner - then scan LB Inner

    Calibrate RB Outer - then scan LB Outer
